Tenuta la Braccesca
La Braccesca estate is located only 20 minutes away from Cortona, and it is immersed in a territory where once stood the old farm owned by Conti Bracci, no2 the estate is owned by Marchesi Antinori. The lands of La Braccesca are located in two areas very near but very different: Montepulciano, classic and prestigious land of the “Noble”, and Cortona which is facing with authority on the international quality wines thanks mainly to its international wine varieties. These two “souls” represent La Braccesca style, respect for tradition and constant research, the harmony between old and new, in the knowledge of their work and passion for quality
The wines producted in the side of Montepulciano are: Sabazio, the Nobile di Montepulciano and the “Top Wine” Santa Pia. For Cortona instead the wines of la Braccesca are: Achelo Syrah and the “Top Wine” Bramasole Syrah.
Various activities are proposed; guided tours of the farm, wine tastings, cooking lessons, and much more.
Leuta
In 2000 Denis Zeni and Enzo Berlanda decided to abandon the hectic life of the city and their activities in the world of finance, to return to the origins of their respective families in the countryside to cultivate the vine. In fact, their families owned land in Vallagrina, an area of Trentino that is enologically suited for the production of wine. Of those lands today only 2 hectares remain, but it is from this point that their extraordinary adventure departs. They therefore decide to buy 21.5 hectares of land in Tuscany, in San Lorenzo di Cortona.
The land was not yet planted, but the analysis shows that the soil was particularly suitable for growing grapes.
In 2004 the dream comes true and the “Lagarini di Zeni e Berlanda” is born, the following year the project is started which involves the preparation of 2 hectares of vines each year divided into 6 vineyards: different vines are planted in each vineyard, Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and Syrah are planted with roses of different colors to protect them from phylloxera and to distinguish between them.
The wines produced are rich in aromas, intense and endowed with a formidable structure and balance. A cellar to discover, taste after tasting.
