CHRISTMAS IN CORTONA

Cortona becomes magical for the Christmas period, and there are many activities proposed.

The craft market in Piazza Signorelli, where the best local and Italian traditions await us in the beautiful wooden houses that host the Christmas Markets. Delicious local products, gastronomic specialties, clothing, crafts, gift ideas, Christmas objects, household items and much more!

At the Parterre there is the Winter Park: skating rinks linked by paths in the public gardens of Cortona, surrounded by Christmas lights. Christmas and gastronomic village, live music and many events throughout the period.

At the Santa Margherita Church, Santa Claus opens the doors of his house to show it to all the curious children who want to enter his world!

ARCHIDADO

In mid-June, enjoy the medieval re-enactment, the most important festival in Cortona. The week begins with medieval markets, and the whole city returns to the customs and traditions of the past. They create beautiful baskets, swords, daggers, bows, leather-bound books, masks, medieval jewels, and use Cortonese florins as the currency.
